I am happy to show the progress of my Midnight at the Oasis. It tests everyone's accuracy, but well worth the effort.
After the churn dash border, I added a lot of tiny squares called checkerboard. It turned out okay. Whew! The next border required paper piecing for me. Again, the pieces are so small that I wanted to keep the blocks as consistent as I could. The quilt is at the long-armer's house in the queue. I ordered more of the green stripe fabric to do the binding.
My name is Chris Barnard and I have been quilting for 30 years and teaching classes for 10 years. My goal is to inspire people to begin their quilting journey, to finish projects already started and to share my passion for quilts.
