In “You’ve Got Mail,” Joe Fox (Tom Hanks’ character) postponed a face-to-face meeting with Kathleen Kelly (Meg Ryan’s character) toward the end of the movie. He said, “I’ve got a project that needs tweaking.”
That is so me. I tweak projects a lot. I tweak projects more than a lot. I think I tweak all the projects I make. Let me be clear: I’m not a tweeter. I’m a tweaker.
What do I tweak? I tweak the blocks, the setting, or the borders. As you can see, anything is fair game as far as I am concerned. I have even tweaked my own pattern.
I can’t stop. It’s addicting. I just tweaked a block of the month pattern yesterday.
You might ask why bother buying a pattern? The answer is that a pattern gives me something to deviate from…a jumping off spot. From there, I dive into my own little world, where the possibilities are endless and that’s a good place.
