I loved collecting fabric for this postage stamp quilt pattern inspired by Kaffe Fassett. Before sewing, I laid out two-inch swatches on a piece of card board and arranged them in my own progression of light to dark and back to light again. I think I stopped counting fabric after I hit 80. I don’t know if I would ever do that again, but I love the result. Machine quilted by Sherri Falls.
Well, I didn’t succeed in using up all my two-inch water color strips, but I came close with this pattern by Back Porch Press. The light-colored fabrics were purchased separately. This is one of my favorite quilts and is on my bed. Machine quilted by Sherri Falls.
