I bought this Double Wedding Ring as a top at a garage sale for $10. The fabrics date back to the 1940s as a rough estimate. It took 12 long years for me to hand quilt it. The quilting part was difficult because of the cotton batting that grabbed the needle with every stitch. (I'll choose a better batt next time.) But hey, I did finish it at long last and the striped binding is divine. Do I need to add who quilted it?
My name is Chris Barnard and I have been quilting for 20 years and teaching quilt classes for 10 years. My goal, besides sharing my passion for quilting, is to inspire people to begin quilting or finish quilts already started.
