I don’t know how old this machine is, but I remember it lived upstairs at my grandparent’s house in Dodge Center, MN. Did my great-grandmother sew with this machine? I know my grandmother did. It still works, but I don’t have the manual. It has a bullet-shaped bobbin which is foreign to me. However, I am happy to keep this machine in the family and give it a home. It folds up nicely in its wooden cabinet and decorates my sewing room. I have to say that it is hard for me to let any sewing machine become an orphan. It’s not so hard for my husband.
My name is Chris Barnard and I have been quilting for 20 years and teaching quilt classes for 10 years. My goal, besides sharing my passion for quilting, is to inspire people to begin quilting or finish quilts already started.
