I found this machine at a garage sale in September 2005 in Bloomington, MN. It was the first and last time I ever saw a Featherweight at a sale. The machine and it’s case were in nice shape and the price was reasonable. So I bought it even though I already had a Featherweight. I haven’t used it much, but I’m hoping to sew alongside a grandchild someday on tandem Featherweights. Both of my Featherweights were manufactured in 1951.
